Our non-profit has an exciting opportunity for charismatic, personable, organized, structured, and professional individual to help continue growing our ever demanding need to develop and manage programs for High School boys. This position requires someone who has excellent communication, good judgement, is highly organized and service-oriented, strong on follow- through, has a great sense of humor and can anticipate needs. The ideal candidate for this position will also have the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with efficiency and excellence.

Key functions performed in this role:

  • The Lounge
    • Oversee lounge program for high school boys
      • Responsible for general outreach and recruiting o
    • Currently The Lounge is open Sunday and Thursday nights from 8-10:30pm
      • Establish if this is the best time and schedule
      • In summer, explore additional night(s)
    • Develop and Coordinate programming based on participant’s needs
      • This can include activities both in and out of lounge
      • Can be both inspirational in nature such as such as kumzits, speakers, etc… Or fun such as ice skating, bowling, etc….
    • Create a warm a non- judgmental environment where all boys feel safe and
    • Develop a mentor-like relationship with the boys where they feel they can
      openly share
    • Responsible for ordering any food/snacks for the programs
    • Responsible for having the boys clean up after themselves at the end of the night
  • Retreat
    • Plan and Coordinate an annual retreat
      • Find Location
      • Develop Workshops and Activities
      • Organize meals and food
      • Recruit and PR
      • Liaison with Boys Committee
  • Basketball League
    • Run lead on MBL program in all facets
      • Oversee Commissioner
      • Liaison with Coaches and Captains
      • Upkeep Website
      • Manage all logistical needs of the MBL
      • Attend MBL games several times a season (exact time/amount to be negotiated/discussed)
  • Program Development
    • Continuously explore need for additional programming which will benefit HS and
      Middle School boys
    • Bring creative ideas for general Madraigos Midwest programming and events
