Madraigos Midwest is seeking a Clinical Director to lead a dynamic team of talented clinicians and become an integral part of Clinical leadership at Madraigos Midwest.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Clinical Director’s fundamental responsibility is to build a thriving and well-functioning clinical team. This position will report to the Executive Director.

The Clinical Director provides leadership with respect to:

  • Talent Management, which includes, but is not limited to:
  • Identify staffing needs, develop and implement staff recruiting plan
  • Support and mentor clinicians 
  • Identify and facilitate professional development needs

Oversee all programs of the clinical department, which includes, but is not limited to:

  • Responsible for supervising, directing, and building the counseling center to continue to meet the need of the Chicago community

Organizational Planning, which includes, but is not limited to:

  • Lead priority projects to advance the strategic plan for the organization

Other Key functions performed in this role:

  • Devise strategies and plans to grow the clinic according to the organization’s standards for excellent service and growth
  • Oversee all patient care from crisis intervention, intake, assessments, case management, and referrals
  • Recruit clinicians to ensure clinic is staffed with qualified personnel
  • Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key community leaders including, Rabbonim, Principals, mental health professionals, and other organizational leaders
  • Assign cases based on most appropriate fit for client
  • Coordinate and supervise staff providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintain your own caseload of clients
  • Maintain your  own professional development and growth  and provide personnel with clinical training and opportunities for continuous development
  • Evaluate performance of clinical staff
  • Create and/or facilitate informative programs and lectures for the community at large and/or more targeted topics and populations
  • Monitor compliance to legal guidelines, professional standards, internal policies and fiscal responsibility

Qualifications:

  • Must have clinical licensure and a minimum of 5 years experience in the field
  • MA in the psychology field required
  • Proven experience as clinical director or other managerial position
  • Experience in clinical supervision and program management
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, resourcing and performance evaluation procedures
  • Excellent knowledge of standards and regulations for the clinical field
  • Proficient in MS Office and computer systems (e.g. patient management software)
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
  • Aptitude in resolving issues and conflicts
  • Familiarity with the Orthodox Jewish Community
